Kenechi Iwelumo, B.A., B.S., M.D. Candidate is a dual-degree graduate of Columbia University, holding degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. She is currently a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Class of 2026) and a Dermatology Research Fellow at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to medical school, Kenechi worked with L’Oréal in analytical skincare research and served in various clinical and research roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University Medical Center. Her current research focuses on micro-invasive skin biopsy techniques and their applications in high-precision genomics. Kenechi’s multidisciplinary background bridges science, engineering, and clinical medicine, underscoring her passion for innovation in dermatology and personalized care.
