Timothy E. Holland, DO, Maj, USAF is currently a PGY-4 dermatology resident at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, California.
Tim is a native of Florida, and obtained a B.S. in Molecular Biology and Microbiology at the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, Florida in 2011. During his undergraduate studies, Tim also commissioned in the United States Air Force thorough Air Force ROTC.
Following his graduation and commissioning, Tim attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he was elected into the Sigma Sigma phi honors fraternity, and earned his medical degree in 2015. Following graduation, he completed his transitional year internship at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida before beginning his active duty career as a flight surgeon. He obtained his Aerospace Medicine Training at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and started his first assignment as the 12th Airborne Command and Control Squadron Flight Surgeon, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. In this role, he supported three deployments over a four year tour from 2016 - 2020. Afterwards, Tim was selected to be the flight surgeon for the US Air Force's largest Combat Air Force's squadron, the 36th Fighter Squadron, from 2020 through 2022 in Osan Air Base, South Korea.
Following this tour, Tim began his dermatology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. He will graduate residency in June of 2025, and has been selected for dermatopathology fellowship beginning in July. His interests within dermatology include dermatopathology, procedural dermatology, and lasers and energy based devices.
