Da Woon Lee, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Soonchunhyang University College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Soonchunhyang University in 2010, followed by a Master’s and PhD in Plastic Surgery at the same institution. Dr. Lee completed his residency and fellowship at Soonchunhyang University Hospitals in Seoul and Cheonan, where he developed a deep specialization in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
With a clinical and academic focus on rhinoplasty, breast reconstruction, and laser-assisted scar management, Dr. Lee has published extensively and presented his research at both national and international conferences. His work often bridges advanced surgical techniques with innovative technologies, such as the use of lasers and botulinum toxin in scar remodeling. He is particularly interested in developing multidisciplinary strategies that enhance surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Dr. Lee is an active member of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and serves as an editorial secretary and committee member for several academic subgroups, including those focused on rhinoplasty and laser surgery. In these roles, he contributes to the advancement of academic standards and helps shape future directions in plastic surgery research and education.
