Andrew C. Krakowski, M.D. is a board-certified pediatric and adolescent dermatologist with a focus on pediatric procedural dermatology. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and two textbooks, including The Scar Book and Pediatric Procedural Dermatology. Dr. Krakowski is a member of Dr. Warren Heymann’s invited panel of experts for AAD’s Dermatology World “Insights and Inquiries.” He is the procedural dermatology section editor for the Society of Pediatric Dermatology’s journal, Pediatric Dermatology, and he is a pediatric dermatology editor for Practical Dermatology and the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology. Dr. Krakowski is a regularly invited lecturer and course director for the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Krakowski currently serves as the Network Chair of Dermatology at St. Luke’s University Health Network and as the Program Director for the ACGME-approved St. Luke’s Residency in Dermatology. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Krakowski has served as a medical cartoonist for Practical Dermatology (“The Last Laugh”) and as a wilderness first-aid expert for Boys Scouts of America (BoysLife.com). He enjoys cheering for the Philadelphia Flyers, playing harmonica badly, and – above all else! – creating adventures with his crazy family.
